Grandpa is so cool...

Kooper loved grandpas Bike! He wants to be just like grandpa when he's in his 50's.

Yep, thats my cool dad in the white shirt, and head band with flames. My dad is on a motorcycle trip all week and stopped in Rexburg last night. He has about 5 guys in his motorcycle "gang". His "gang' is a bunch of friends from church, yes you heard that right church. Not much more to say simply my dad. Love you dad!

Family Reunion 2007

So much fun! We returned this morning from Washington for my families reunion. We had all my sisters and their families except my sister Chauntel and her family who lives in Dallas, Tx. They couldn't make it up this summer but hopefully we will see them around Christmas. Kooper was well taken care of by all of his cousins, they all wanted to hold him and play with him It was so great. We spent the first day watching a free movie just playing at the park and launching rockets, playing in the splash park and playing kick ball. The second day we spent boating on my sister Rochelles boat. Kooper even road on he tube with Mike a few times. I forgot the take a picture but we did get it on the video camera. Saturday we drove up to Leavenworth, Wa which is a small Bavarian Village in the middle of Washington. My dad and Mike both served missions in Germany, and it brought back a few good memories. This was Mikes first time in Leavenworth and we had great authentic German food. Mmmm! I am sad the only picture I got of my whole family my dads and My eyes were shut. I think my sister got a better picture I will have to steal.

Date Night

I realized on Friday that my sisters were leaving Rexburg for their off semester and I never used them to babysit while Mike and I went on a date. Don't get me wrong I did use them to babysit, it was my trade off for them doing laundry at my house and me taking them to get groceries. So friday evening Kendall watched Kooper and Keaton, (Jason and Meegans son) So that Jason, Meegan, Mike, and I could go golfing. I have been wanting to go golfing so bad this summer. Meegan with her obbsession with photography ( just kidding Meegan I love you) brought along her camera thinking this was obviously the perfect photo opt. We had so much fun, I was glad another girl went golfing, cause I was so tired of only golfing with guys when I went. Here are a few pictures from date night. If you want to see more pictures from our date check out the link Meegan Littlefield Photography and Design.

Love Sac

When we moved into our new house I made Mike sell his Love Sac because I didn't have anywhere to put it. Mike loved his Love Sac. We just scored a new Love Sac from our wonderful friends the Littlefields. Kooper loves to be thrown into it, he also climbs all over it. Mike once again has a placeto relax and play XBOX. So even though it is ugly in my living room, I can live with it for the time being until it finds a new place someday.

18 month check up

Kooper had his 18 month apt. yesterday and is a healthy boy. He weighs 26.5 lbs. which is 50% height is 33 inches which is 75 %. The one thing everyone tells me when they see him is that he is tall and then they pick him up at are amazed by his mass. 26 lbs dosen't seem very heavy to me but when I pick him up I am amazed at how solid he is.
here are some picture of Kooper pretending my calculator is a phone. He just talks and talks all day long. I love it.

18 months

Kooper is officially 18 months today! This weekend Kooper, Mike, and I went down to Salt Lake to play with our friends Tyson, Jennie, and their kids. We went to the Rec. Center in Bountiful to swim. Kooper loves to wear his little floaties in the water. He swims so good on his own with them on. He probbaly would have been fine without them because the water was so shallow but he likes to wear them. we went out to eat with them and then Tyson and Jennie came over to Mike's parents townhouse to play nintendo Wii. Mikes loves to go to Salt Lake he is addicted to the Wii and can play for hours.
The other pictures are of Kooper after we went to Burger King. The red tricycle is from our neighbors they gave it to Kooper because he is always trying to steal it from them. His feet are not long enough to reach the pedals, but it must make him feel like a big boy so he likes to climb on it.

4th of July

This had to be one of the best fourths we have had in a while. The morning started with a neighborhood breakfast at 7 am. Mike went in to work for a few hour that morning to BBQ for his employees. Kooper and I went to the Rexburg Parade, This was Koopers first parade and he did so good. Of course I had to snatch up some candy for him,he just was too slow with all the big kids around. The big thing at the Rexburg parade is every year they pass out to all the kids Reeds Chocolate Milk... Mmmm. Then Mike andIhad our neighbors and some friends over for a BBQ and the kids played in the kiddie pool and ran through the sprinkler. ( We had to try out our new patio) Later that evening we went to fight the crowds down at the park by the river in Idaho Falls . The fireworks show was one of he best shows I've seen, we had great seats. Kooper loved the firework and would sing along to the music that accompanied them. It was so sweet.

Too hot...

I know I am such a dork, but I have worked so hard on my yard. We added more flowers with color and I think it looks so much better. The concrete was a huge task that didn't go the way we planned. It was so hot yesterday the concrete dried so fast. we didn't get to do all the finishing work we wanted to. Don't get me wrong it still looks good . I am so excited to have it done.

More yard work...

The yard work is never ending. On Saturday Annette and I went plant and flower shopping and the guys ( Mike and John) set the forms for the concrete that will be poured today. We bought some flowers for my pots. and more plants for in front of my porch. We made a little rock looking stream and have a little asian theme going on. We also bought bamboo like grass. My biggest let down was I was expecting the plants to be bigger when I bought them. I will have to wait for them to grow and fill out. They will look so good when they are full grown plants. I am not very good at waiting, when I want something I want it now.
Kooper has just been playing outside all weekend and never want to go in. I am thinking about moving his bed outside. He can skip melas and nap and be happy all day log until it gets dark .
