Merry Christmas!

He dosen't look happy in the picture but he was so excited to get this game from Santa
Kooper playing his new Elefun Game

Grandpa was helping Kooper open Gator Golf. Grandpa was so nice all morning setting up his toys and finding batteries so Kooper could try all of his new toys out.

Grandpa wears his favorite Nike shirts all the time, and lucky Kooper got a matching one for Christmas.

Grandma read Kooper the Nativity story on Christmas Eve.

This picture was taken before church on Sunday in Koopers cute Christmas outfit, given to him by Grandma D.

We all got new jammies on Christmas Eve!
This year we were supposed to be in Washington with my family but with all the bad weather and airports closing we never made it, so we had a change of plans and stayed in Salt Lake for Christmas. Kooper loves all his new toys and spent all morning switching between toys.

Mike bought himself a playstation 3 for Christmas. Our house is overflowing with games, Wii, Xbox, and now Playstation 3. It's slightly rediculous! My gift this year is my Pilates Certification. I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and made it home to your families and didn't get stuck somewhere along the way!

I thought we left the land of the snow...

This was a good picture so show just how much snow we got.

I felt like we were back in Rexburg this week. We have had a couple snow storm the last week. Mike has been working overtime, not taking lunch breaks and staying late at work. He is ready for summer. This is always a hard time of year at the airport for him. I worked Wednesday night at the shelter and woke up to lots of snow the shelter parking lot had not been plowed yet that morning and had a little hill. I of course got stuck and had to be plowed out. I stayed in the rest of the day refusing to go anywhere until the roads were better. The sun came out later that day and the roads did get much better. The roads clearing so quickly reminded me we were not in Rexburg.
I am so excited about my new adventures I am starting this next year and must share. My Pilate's instructor I have been going to since we moved to Cedar City just moved. I have been apprenticing with her the last few weeks. I will be getting my Pilate's Mat Certification in January and will be taking over one of her classes on Tuesday afternoons. I am also going to be teaching Yoga at Gold's Gym Tuesday evenings. I have always wanted to be a fitness instructor and LOVE Pilate's and Yoga and can't wait to start. My first classes will be January 7th. Wish me luck!

Oh Christmas Tree...

Kooper in front of the christmas tree. Since the picture was taken we have added a train around the tree which Kooper loves to play with.

I told Kooper to smile and this was what I got, kind of a scary smile.
I keep wanting to play Christmas Music at home and in the car, and I am living with two Grinchs. Mike and Kooper complain everytime I turn it on. I love Christmas Music so I am constantly having to lay the smack down and tell them to deal with it. Kooper just wants to listen to Kooper music, who knows what that is, but it is never what I am listening to. Mike will only listen to Carpenters Christmas Music, I guess that is what he grew up listening to.

We are having...

The doctor said I was 11 weeks 5 days. I was surprised at how much it actually looked like a baby this early in the pregnancy.
A BABY! So it's still early to tell what we are having, and I realize I am probably the only one who thinks these utlrasounds are cool. I have never had a 3D ultra sound, so I thought these were fun ( just like the doctor promised). Kooper thought the movie of the baby was so cool he kept talking about it. I think he is starting to understand mommy has a baby in her belly. It was comforting to see the baby wiggle and hear the heartbeat. Sorry, Jennie no vampires babies this time, but the doctor did say it could be confusing when the baby is born because it will be the most beautiful baby anyone has ever seen!

Storybook parade...

The sun was hurting Koopers eyes.

Cedar City has this great parade every year as a part of the Christmas festival. I have heard a lot about it so I took my friend Rindy and her kids this weekend. The weather was so perfect we didnt even need coats. This was honestly one of the coolest parades I have seen beside the disneyland parade. The theme is storybook parade and all the floats, and costumes were storybook characters. Kooper loved the characters like, spiderman, Dora, Mickey Mouse, & Buzz lightyear. We spent most of the weekend in St. George at our friends house playing Rockband.

I had my first doctors appointment yesterday, I got all ready in my gown for my ultrasound, and waited, until finally the nurse came in and said the doctor had to reschedule because he got called to do an emergency C section. I couldn't be mad but I was a little bummed to have to wait a little longer, they promised me lots of free and fun (whatever that means) ultrasound pictures. So tomorrow I have my first real doctors apt.

Happy Thanksgiving...

I worked a bunch on Thanksgiving so that I could get Christmas off. I even ended up having Thanksgiving Dinner at the shelter, which was better than no dinner at all. I ended up flying into Salt Lake on Friday to be with Mike and Kooper at Mikes parents house. We had fun hanging out with friends and family all weekend.

We took Kooper to go and see Santa at the mall and get his yearly picture taken. The little squirt would not smile, he would not even look at me when I called his name. So this was the only picture of him smiling.

Happy Birthday to me...

I am wearing my new sweater I bought with the gift card from my parents, and holding my new I-pod shuffle I bought with B day money from my in laws. Thanks! Mikes gift to me was all the shopping while in Vegas.

We had dinner at Ninja the Japanese Steakhouse and hibachi restraunt. Then we came home and had my ice cream cake.

Mike and I got back from Vegas on Wednesday we had so much fun and it was nice to get away. While in Vegas the first day I remembered I had two dollars in my purse and stuck in the wheel of fortune slot (my favorite) my first try I won $125, not being much of a gambler I cashed out took my money and went shopping! Kooper was staying with my in laws, and the week before was in Washington with my parents so it had almost been two weeks since I had seen him. This was the longest I had been away from him, I almost started crying when I finally got him back. It was a good cry!

Knocked up again!

We are so excited to be expecting another baby the end of June. I am experiencing some firsts with this pregnancy like being sick, and being sick with an almost three year old. It's funny how little I remember about pregnancy, and babies. I feel so grateful I do not work 9-5 right now! Kooper of course have no idea whats going on, Maybe when I have a big belly he will understand.

Mike and I are Kooperless this week, I dropped Kooper off in Washington at my parents house for the week. (THANKS MOM!) I have training all week for work, and Mike and I have both picked up extra shifts with no Kooper here, we are exhausted and love the time alone. After all the hard work we are headed to Vegas next week for some relaxing. I am just tagging along for one of Mikes manager meetings. I guess that's my little update for now!

We voted...

Just in case you couldn't tell that is an "O" for Obama. The "I voted" sticker in on his hat as proof he voted.
Mike and I did not vote the same way, no matter how much we tried to convert each other.
Freedom of choice right? I don't consider myself very political but I do vote. Not to mention I wasen't too excited to even vote this year, but maybe Mitt Romney will be back next time around! I hope everyone got out and voted this year!

Bikers and our lil' devil...

Family Picture. I am thinking about using this on our christmas cards!

The best part is, this really is all mikes riding gear, with out the mullet and the tats.

Mike took Kooper trick or treating around our neighborhood, while I passed out candy.
Then we went over to SUU where a local church was having a carnival, kooper did the games and scored lots of candy. He loved being a devil because he had wings and he could fly. I scored the devil costume last year at pottery barn kids for $10. Next year I think Kooper will be old enough to pick out his own costume.

Carving Pumpkins...

Mike started with a design and then decided it was too hard and ended up putting holes all over his pumpkin. Mine was a skull, I am pretty sure my hand is broken it sucked to carve.

Kooper is about to go crazy on the pumpkin with that knife.
My title for this post was going to be Carving Pumpkins Sucks!, but I didn't want to seem too negative. It was so much more fun when I was younger. Kooper loved it and that is all that matters. We had plans to carve pumpkins earlier this week but Mike and I both picked up shifts and didn't have time until tonight. It has been so warm here, that I am glad we waited I don't think the pumpkins would have survived. I have had my A.C. on all week, we tried to go with out it because well, it is almost November but we both got too hot. It has been mid to high 70's. It should cool down tomorrow I was worried Kooper would over heat in his costume.

Maybe it's only Funny to me...

I was not feeling well the other day at lunch time just before I ate so I laid my head on the table. Kooper was sitting next to me and said, " Don't cry mommy." I told him I wasn't crying that I felt sick so I was laying my head down. I looked over a moment later and Kooper was laying his head on the table like me. I asked him what was wrong he said he was sick.

Everyday we go t the gym they have a big picture of a girl and guy on the side of the building and every morning Kooper says that's mommy, and points to the lady working out. One morning he pointed to the guy and said that's daddy and the girl was mommy. I told him I bet his dad would love to hear that. I also was not offended my kid thought I was the ripped chick in the picture.

Whenever we fly into Salt Lake something similar happens with an ad at the bottom of the escalators he points to the blond lady and says that's mommy. Of course I only wish my face was plastered all over airports and gyms.

This is my favorite, we were in Salt Lake this weekend and the BYU channel was on Sunday morning and the choir was singing, Kooper said that's mommy, of course referring to the wonderful singing. Which makes me think maybe my son is going deaf.

Kooper is so funny lately he has us laughing constantly. Kooper loves to pretend he is a kitty. lately, he has grown to love Grandpa and Grandmas kitty, no matter how often I tell him Kittys are icky and to leave it alone he loves them. He pretends to be a kitty all day. He meows randomly, sometimes it is hard to have a conversation with him because he will not break character. He crawls into the bedroom on all fours meowing and licking his paws. It makes me laugh, but really he could be something more masculine like a dog?

5 years...

Our engagement photo

Can you believe it, we have been married five years today! What an amazing day it was being sealed in the Seattle temple to my best friend. Mike has always been a thoughtful husband, and a interactive dad. I love him and Can't believe how fast the years have flown by. I love that I get to spend eternity with this man.

Adventures with Crack....Crafty title, I know.

This was how small the hike was we did this weekend with our friends. We had to do it sideways. Mike didn't even fit, the other guys got stuck in a few places. Kooper did the whole thing walking shoudlers forward. I asked him if he needed any help and with as much attitude at a 2.5 year old could muster he said, " No, I don't need help!"
Good thing my boobs aren't bigger I would have been stuck. This is the one time small boobs were nice.
The boys
The girls

The kids (missing a couple kids)
We hung out with friends this weekend in St. George and did this little mini adventure one of the days, not sure what this place was called but it was pretty short, and fun to get out and do something.

Pumpkin Patch...

Only 15 more days to Halloween! This is my decorated tiny porch, this made me really miss my house and porch in Idaho.
Kendall, Rochelle, and Kids getting on the hay ride. Koop liked the big jumps! It was a bumpy ride.
We picked out a nice little pumpkin for Kooper and gave it to grandma for her front porch.
This was the little kids maze. Koop would have been lost if he wasn't following someone.
Straw bale tower that the kids climbed all over.
My cute sisters!
Then they had a barn with some farm animals!

This was mine and Kooper first time going to a pumpkin patch and it was fun. We both went home and took naps.

I went home for the weekend just for a little visit to see my family. It was so nice and relaxing! Kooper of course loved all the kids, cousins and daycare. Not to mention all of Grandmas toys, and Grandpa who kept feeding him popcicles.
